-complete “boy with hat” figure, Obril 8, 1988
-Donkey, with #11 on back

And one Grundsau 8 “donkey”, plus a couple other items

I grew up in the PA Dutch culture, my grandparents farmed in northern Berks county for 60+ yrs. Aunts, Uncles, Great-grand parents all Berks county farmers. I was on the farms at an early age, helping out. My grand-parents and father spoke PA Dutch fluently. Over the years, the culture has faded. I was just wondering what this stuff was, why it was made, where, ect… I have several PA Dutch items I keep away, that way my children can have some kind of reference to their family roots. Also is this stuff valuable? I have it in a cardboard box in an outside outhouse I use for storage. Thank you for providing any information.

They are worth about $20.00 each, but I would hold on to them for your family. It’s always nice to have something from your roots. I was born here, but my parents and grandparents are from Cuba. I have a few Cuban artisan pieces in my home and my children love having them around. It keeps them connected to their past.

The_seller is correct. It’s best to just keep them and/or pass them down to next younger generation. They’re not worth much in value. Good luck!
