You have to do your own advertising, such as Facebook, Twitter, & Pinterest by using the buttons provided. Click on the share button and they will show. When you click on the bird, a tweet will pop up that you can send out and so on. If you haven’t joined any of those yet, you need to!

I just started listing today and I have views on my items. I think the idea is to create an active community. There are plenty of opportunities to make connections on the site to get some traffic to your booth.

Also look under “Sell on Bonanza” on the top, then “Advertise items”. Pick which option you want (I do the max. 16% commission) This will also help your items get seen. You don’t pay anything till your item sells and it will not go over what you picked, and usually its lower. Good Luck. I had a pretty decent December :)

I figure I was paying 16% on the site that shall not be named, so it’s worth a shot.

You pay about 20%if you add in the paypal fees on the big site.

Be careful, if you add the 16% FVF to the paypal fee, its almost the same as other places at 19%. Make sure your prices are high enough here to make profit.

One thing I noticed is you have duplicate words in your titles. Try to think “Search Engine” when you compose your title, and instead of repeating yourself, use the space to put in keywords.
If you are on Facebook, make a FB page that advertises your booth, and have clickable links that take them to it.
There are new FB groups popping up all the time, try to find some that let you post your individual items with a link to your booth. Some do, and some don’t. If you make your own things, look for crafter groups, or handicraft groups or handmade jewelry groups.

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
