This clear glass cruet measures 12 inchess tall. Can anyone help me info on this and a resale price? I think someone used it to store maple syrup. I have pictures of this in my booth – not sure if I can get a picture in this thread or not!

Hi [URL removed] Is the reddish stain on the top (holder) sticky that may have possibly been utilized to hold syrup? Or is it non-sticky and just dry? If non-sticky, then I would think it was used as a red wine decanter to hold wine. Get you an eyeglass or magnifying glass and look closer on the bottom for any numbers or letters too. Thanks baLOO!

it is not a syrup; although some folks do use large cruets for syrups. There is no mark on the bottom? I am not familiar with it as a pattern. sorry

I see no marks at all on it – any place. The reason I said syrup is because when I take the stopper out & sniff, it smells like maple syrup!

I don’t know what pattern it is, but the cruet does look like it’s pressed glass. As for the red,maybe they stored red wine vinegar in it. I don’t know about the syrup smell, but if it was syrup it should just wash out with no stain left.
