The instant offer is the minimum you will accept (this includes shipping) when someone makes an offer.
IF the offer is at or above your minimum them the offer is automatically accepted and the sale goes through.
IF there is no price in your instant offer box or if the offer is below the instant offer set, then you will be informed by Bonanza that an offer has been made on one of your items. You will then be given the opportunity to accept or deny the offer.
Your Price
$20.00 + $5.00 (shipping) = $25.00
You are willing to sell for $16.00 + $5.00 (shipping) = $21.00
So your Instant offer price is $21.00. If someone offers anything above $21.00 then the sale goes through without consulting you that an offer was made….

“…is there a minimum %”
No, here on Bonanza it’s up to You, how much discount You would like to offer.

This must be something new that started with OBO….though I know not real recent. I do not remember offers being accepted automatically and sellers being able to put a minimum price in. So did this start up or was it always a part of OBO?
Maybe I should offer OBO. Everyone wants a deal and I like a deal when I am shopping, too. Something to think about.
It would be nice if I could even set up OBO on specific listings. I do not think there is a way to do this, right?

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
