Why did my prices increase on ebay?

For example, I charged $300 for an item on bonanza, but when it showed up on EBAY it cost more. I didn’t change anything. The prices are still different on both sites. Why did EBAY increase the price of my item?

eBay didn’t raise your price. Bonanza did… more than likely when choosing the publish to eBay option, you selected the option to automatically raise the price to compensate for the small fee that Bonanza charges you to publish your items to eBay. The following is from the Bonanza help [URL removed]

“When your item sells on eBay, you will be subject to eBay’s standard final value fees. Bonanza charges a 1.5% fee for the full price of any item sold on eBay. We can automatically raise the price of your item when we post it, if you’d like to compensate for this cost. "
