The customer’s phone number does not appear. Therefore, I have to send the customer a messages both to the private email and to In the internal notice .This problem is delaying shipping time
They also do not answer quickly
In the form that customers fill out is there not the option to fill the phone number? And if it does, were can I find it?

You should be able to see the address of the buyer on the Purchase notice by clicking on “Packing Slip”. Not sure why you would want their phone number.

You’re probably scaring them away by asking for their phone number – don’t know why you would need that. I know I’d run the other way if someone pushed me for my number.

Hi @_aliza_classic_store,

Thanks for your post and congratulations on the sales! Bonanza does not require buyers to input their phone numbers when making a purchase. If you’re having trouble finding their shipping address, you should be able to view their full shipping address on the order’s packing slip on Bonanza. To view a packing slip, you’ll want to navigate to the order summary page, then you will see a link under the order summary box that says “View packing slip”.

If you need additional information from the buyer before shipping, it is best to contact them via Bonanza’s internal messaging system. You can also do that from the order summary page by clicking the “Send them a message” link.

Hope this information helps to answer your question, and if you need any further assistance please contact us at [email protected]. Thank you!

Why would you want the customers phone number? If i were a customer, i would not want to give my phone number, and if a seller requested it, I would not purchase from that seller….

Also, maybe they are not answering your emails because you are asking for their phone number and they may not want to give it to you! It is NOT a requirement, and for you to hold up their sale by waiting for this information is not right or professional.

I agree! That’s why there is email. Open communication through email.

I totally agree. Open communication through email is the best way to go. I would not give out my phone number.

If you ship LTL or certain shippers, they require a phone number to schedule delivery.

A phone number should not be required to make a purchase. Why would you need this? Communication is preferred through the Bonanza messaging system.

The problem here is that your products are set up to look as if they are shipping from the USA, but buried in your listing descriptions you show that they are actually shipping from outside the USA.

And it is towards the bottom of a very long listing (in at least 3 different listings I viewed)that you state where it is shipping from.

I believe that most people who buy International understand that the carrier needs their phone numbers to meet carrier requirements. Possibly for Customs requirements, most definitely to ensure delivery.

In the 3 listings that I looked at on their site, i saw way down in the details this “Our stock all ships from our US-based warehouses. Shipped via USPS or UPS” So IF these items are indeed being shipped from the US, There is no need for them to have a phone #

Thanks to all the respondents
I must give you an explanation of all your respondents and notes
My products are Dropshipings products and the sites I do Dropshiping are mostly American like Amazon and more … some of them are from Chinese sites
And all without exception require the customer’s phone number in the form filling the details without it the form can not not sent, it just does not pass forward
I just do not understand why the method here in Bonanza is filling out the details without the phone number.
And I also do not understand the customers behavior. After all, they paid for the product and did not answer the messages I send them via email or the internal message here.
And to those who responded that a salesman asking for the customer’s phone number would have run away from the seller
The fact is that no one has escaped until now because I did not write it anywhere that the phone number should be filled in.
I think it’s self-explanatory so it’s 100% at all shopping sites in Onlien.

When shipping overseas a phone number for the receiver is always required by the courier for customs purposes and delivery. The online courier booking forms simply will not allow the booking without a receivers phone number.

I am an international seller, any courier companies here need phone number of my buyer to send their item. It is not me who need the buyer phone number, otherwise the courier will reject the shipping. that’s my own experience here as an International seller.
