To answer my own question.. Elephants, Giraffes and Wolves are some of my favorites but I love animals in general <3

I debated on adding “please leave them that way” but it’s really sad to me when people try to domesticate undomesticated species.. it doesn’t usually work out well for any involved. Cute as babies but babies grow up…

I’m a big animal lover and agree with you about not keeping wild animals as pets. Thank you for including my Raccoon, it is always appreciated.

Save Our Wildlife is the “call of the wild”. A wonderful list to create and an important message. Thank you for adding my Seal, Eagle and Dolphins. They all need to be protected. …… from quadrina :)

I agree with you completely Audi! A super list with great picks. I can’t pick a favorite species as I love to see and read about so many of them.

Hi Robin, I’m not overly fond of slither’ers though I snake sat a 5’ Boa for a very short time, one of the scariest thing I ever did considering my extreme fear of snakes :D It did help a bit with that.

quadrina, World Wildlife Day is March 3 and it was designated in order to celebrate and raise awareness of the world’s wild fauna and flora. I wanted to make a list to honor this day. :)

Vintage, me too! There are so many awesome species.. sadly many are dwindling in numbers and raising awareness could hopefully lend a hand in slowing that down. You are very welcome.. those bears definitely heard the call.. I love the phones, it just seemed so appropriate to this list..cute too :)

Hi Nancy :) I think Noah’s Ark contained many wildlife species, I had to include that!! :)
Hi Neills, glad to see you back, I noticed you gals disappeared briefly. I love that owl and the black bear backpack is adorable! I would have also loved that as a little girl :)

Thank you for including the moose sweatshirt & the Lion paperweight. I like that lot of safari animals (NIP) and that articulated tiger charm.
My favourite species would be the aardvark or aardwolf. Can’t dislike animals that disobey the English norms of spelling.

Hi QM they are both so cool.. love that brass lion and the green eyes, wow! I know what an Aardvark is but never heard of an Aardwolf.. it reminds me of a Hyena. Heehee funny on the spelling comment ;) :D

Today is World Wildlife Day! By conserving wildlife, we’re ensuring that future generations can enjoy our natural world and the incredible species that live within it. To help protect wildlife, it’s important to understand how species interact within their ecosystems, and how they’re affected by environmental and human influences. Learn more here:
