Heirloom Organic Delicious Tomato Seeds (15)
You may be lucky enough to harvest the tomato that beats the record, but even if not, most of your crop will be plump, meaty fruits that weigh well over a pound. The name describes the tasteโ flavorful, juicy and just plain delicious. Fruit resists cracking and stores for weeks. 77 DAYS.
Botanical Name: Lycopersicon lycopersicum 'Delicious'
Height: 4 - 6 Feet
Spacing: 18 - 24 inches between plants, 3 - 5 feet between rows.
Depth: Plant seeds 1/4 inch deep. Transplant outdoors after any chance of frost is past. When transplanting, set the plant deep, up to the first true leaves, by digging a deep hole or trench. The stem will develop roots along its length.
Spread: 3 feet.
Light Required: Full Sun
Pollinator: Self pollinating. Both male and female flowers are present on each plant.
Yield: 100 lbs. per 100 foot row
Blooms: Early Summer, Mid Summer, Late Summer, All Summer
Fruit: Red, large, excellent flavor. Smooth, very little cracking. Almost solid meat with small seed cavity. Most over 1 pound, Many 2 - 3 lbs.

Pruning: Prune by cutting out suckers (auxillary shoots between the stems and the leaves) to produce larger fruit. Fruit also ripens earlier since the sun can reach it more easily.
