Here for bid is a really neat item. I was not sure how to list and in what category. I know nothing about this piece., See photos and please ask any questions. This is a painted animal vertebra. Age of bone and artwork is unknown. I am not sure of the tribe or where it may have been painted. It does seem to be a little bit old but I don't know. Has a nice painting of a woman on one side and a eagle or hawk on the other. stands about 3. inches tall and 4. inches long. A very neat piece. There is some light wear from age and storage.
