One Pair of shoe covers that resemble a pair of BOOTS Custom made for any size between toddler 7 to Men's 14 Hey Guys! Really important! If you buy these, Here's what I'll need to know in the note to seller when you check out: **Color of boot if you want different than the photo **What is your shoe size Tell me the #, the country and whether it's men's, women's or toddler/youth **What is the measurement around the fattest part of your calf? Please consider any pants you will be wearing underneath, but don't guess or just add an inch, it is likely not that great a difference and you don't want a too floppy leg. I make it a tad roomier than the measurement you give me. (if you give me a measurement smaller than 14", I will question it, so reassure me if 13" or smaller is correct) **How tall do you want the boot leg? Measure from the ankle bone (that bump protruding at the side of your ankle) upward to the spot on your leg where you'll want the boot leg to end. I suggest *at least* 10" for adults, I will question it if it is shorter than 9" or taller than 13". For a REALLY COOL Costume... Don't forget the FEET! And Don't wear uncomfortable costume boots when you can wear your own comfortable shoes with these great covers! PLEASE NOTE: I have designed these shoe covers for Convention goers and indoor party type of Cosplayers. This Fabric, FELT, does not do well in nature as it is like velcro for twigs and leaves. Anything with some body and an arch in the sole is great. No platforms, only average sole shoes. Conversely, no super flat soles either Sneakers like Vans or Keds do not work as they have no body, low profile and a flat sole with no arch in which the stirrup can nestle. If the stirrup has no gap to nestle in, it could feel weird. Oxford type work shoes (even dress shoes) are good, too. These days most athletic shoes have a flat sole, so I'm not sure if they are a good suggestion anymore. Make your best judgement here with the info I have provided. Some will have a faux leather cuff Felt is a stiff but soft fabric that can get fuzzy when rubbed on and halloween walks in leafy walkways will result in debris sticking to the fabric like velcro. You can brush off the debris and even wash them and trim away the fuzziness with scissors to bring them back to smooth. There is a strip of black elastic at the bottom, like a stirrup, to hold them snugly on your shoe. Vizzini AND King Aragorn These are both light grey felt that is spraypainted darker grey to add depth of color that I cannot achieve with any color fabric I can buy. They both have lacing detail. A dark grey lacing that either is tied around the cuff or laced up the inside. THE VIZZINI have a split in the cuff toward the inner leg and the lacing is crisscross laced up the seam with large bow loops hanging like Vizzini's boots look and I would make the cuff proportionate to the length of boot leg you request so it looks like the photo THE KING ARAGORN are a long solid cuff that folds over once and I would make the cuff proportionate to the length of boot leg you request so it looks like the photo HAWKEYE Extra long pirate style cuff will be proportionate to the bootleg height you order so that they will resemble the ones in the photo and color is Orchid felt from Joann fabric HELLO! Anigo Montoya Shown is an all brown boot but the cuff fabric is vinyl (faux leather) and the rest of the boot is brown felt. the fringe on the cuff are 1.5" squares with about 1/8" between. DIRECTIONS to put on the shoe covers: The seam on the side of the shoe cover should go along your inner leg Slide the cover up your leg BEFORE you put on your shoes. Just pull it on like a fat sock and get it all the way up and out of your way so you can put on your shoes Make sure that the elastic stirrup goes behind your heel/leg as you pull them on. Put on your shoes. If you are wearing pants, this is a good time to tug the bottom of the pant leg back downward through the shoe cover’s leg and get everything smooth before you pull the shoe covers back down and over your shoe. Once your shoes are fastened, pull the shoe cover down and over the shoe. Stretch the elastic stirrup back around your heel and under the sole of your shoe. Fix and smooth the top of the cover over your shoe. Your shoe covers are custom made to your shoe size and leg measurements!
