They lid section is held shut by a looping handle feature. The interior is lined with green cloth lining. It has an area built into the interior lid, to hold flatware (included), and two wine glasses (included). One of the coolest features is the cloth pouch attached to the side of the basket, which has a two tie straps to tie up the neck of the bottle securely. Not only is that handy for carrying your wine bottle, but also, keeps your bottle upright during your picnic, after you've opened the bottle.
