Vollrath Stainless Steel Bain Marie with and 49 similar items

I purchased both of these canisters second hand, quite a few years ago. I did not purchase them as one unit so am not sure whether they were intended to fit together or not. Although quite likely they were intended to be used together as both are a Vollrath item and fit beautifully! A fact which pleased me very well! They can be used as a Bain Marie (double boiler) or as two separate canisters. Plus it takes minimal storage space when they fit together so nicely! I used them for years in making my natural soaps and shampoos. However both have become pitted on the inside bottom which I feel makes them dysfunctional for my soap making. They are also "dinged up". The photo of the set looks like the outer canister is two toned, but it is not! It must have been a reflection. No doubt someone can still put them to good use for some other purpose! I am offering them by the piece or as a set. Straight walled canister is 7 1/2 inches tall, 6 1/4 inches wide at the outside base. Inset is approximately 8 1/8 inches tall, 5 5/8 inches at the outside base. Both of them will hold a gallon.
