Item description
Yummy white and dark chocolate striped (reminds me of salt water taffy) art glass cabochons are set in a soft, burnished gold tone plated metal (not a high, bright gold.) High cabochons were used in many examples of D E (Juliana) jewelry in the book "Juliana Jewelry The Last Generation" by Knutson Wacker, 2013. Also similarily striped oval stones on pages 45-50 of "Juliana Jewelry" by Ann Pitman, 2010
They measure approximately 1 1/16” x 7/8”; unsigned and in very good vintage condition.
The cufflinks are equipped with toggle back closures; a torpedo, or bullet shaped, capsule that is suspended between two posts. The bullet can be flipped on its axis to manipulate it through the buttonholes in the cuff, and then flipped to secure the cufflink on the shirt.
Cufflinks “upgrade” any outfit to an “ensemble.” Think James Bond, or a gentleman! Perfect for a wedding, formal evening attire, or adding that powerful edge to business wear.
