1940s Purple Rhinestones ST Three and 26 similar items

I have seen these in a variety of sizes and materials, but this one is exceptionally large and sturdy. Eight legs arch high over the body and are each tipped with two lavender SWAROVSKI crystals; the body is a great big dark amethyst colored stone prong set in silver tone plated metal; the “eyes” and “neck” are lavender crystals, too. This is NOT a delicate fellow, but well-constructed – manages to be substantial while looking spindly. It is approximately 2 3/8” x 1 7/8” and 1” tall; equipped with a secure rollover clasp; all the stones are present and sparkly; overall, it is in excellent vintage condition.
