More details about this item

Here is a CLASSIC, VINTAGE FISHER PRICE #506 BEAR AND CUBS PEEK UP 'N PEEK PUZZLE for your inspection. This puzzle consists of 10 pieces, each equipped with a yellow peg. The pegs are designed to help little fingers easily remove the pieces from the puzzle. Manufactured between 1972-84, the puzzle depicts a mother bear going on a picnic with her cubs. The puzzle is intended for 2-5 year old children. All of the pieces, when removed, have an underlying litho showing a given body part paired with its corresponding printed word. The latter promotes the importance of print (e.g. emergent literacy) in every day life. In my opinion, this puzzle is in EXC-EXC condition with only minor edge wear on some of the puzzle pieces and a few miniscule rubs on some of the lithos. The puzzle was produced in Holland. There are a couple of small stains and scratches on the back of the puzzle. These minor flaws do not detract from the function or appearance of the puzzle itself. This is a FANTASTIC puzzle for developing early language and eye/hand coordination skills as well as expanding a child's interest in print. This solid wood puzzle exemplifies Fisher Price's reputation for durable, classic toys. The puzzle weighs 1 lb., 4 oz. UNWRAPPED and my location is Lafayette, IN (47905). I'm more than willing to combine purchases to save on shipping costs. ALL I ASK IS THAT BUYERS CONTACT ME PRIOR TO PURCHASING MULTIPLE ITEMS SO I CAN MAKE A COMBINED INVOICE. OTHERWISE, THE BONANZA SHIPPING CALCULATOR MAY OVERCHARGE YOU ON SHIPPING AND I WILL BE CHARGED MULTIPLE TRANSACTION FEES BY PAYPAL. I'm willing to ship items to Canada and Australia.
