This is still new but so far it appears to be a far better reusable filter than I found at Home Depot.

I have asthma and was looking for a good, quality electrostatic filter that was easy to maintain. This filter is great, slides right in to our system and the I breathe a lot easier. I would highly recommend this filter for anyone who wants cleaner air that is durable, washable and hassle free. Until I got this filter, I never realized what a difference there has been in the air quality in our home.

Makes a loud noise when air is attempting to pass through it. It is loud enough to be distracting.
