Although the NFL did not become a formal organization until the 1920s, it has its roots in the late 19th century, when a Yale footballer was paid a massive amount of money by the Allegheny Athletic Association ($500) to play against a Pittsburgh. The tradition of making money with pigskin continues, the Super Bowl being the most-watched sporting event in the United States (although some argue that this is for the commercials, appropriately enough).

I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical. Finding leather jackets to fit me is a challenge. I opted to buy one before having it custom made and made a great decision to do so because the 3XL size fit me perfectly with room left to spare for button ups, thin hoodies, etc. It is quite thick, too, so it can be worn well after fall, into the light winter. VeRy good job on this jacket!
