From the preface: "Twentieth Century Touch Typewriting (Revised) is the product of a long and intensive studey of the processes involbved in learning to typwrite. The materials for instruction have been thoroughly tested in the clasdroom of the authors and of many other teachers interested in the elimination of waste effort in the teaching and the learning of trypewriting. The key board reaches are taught through a series of location drills. These drills constitute the most direct method of establishing a definite association bwetween the controlling finger and the key to be controlled.
