I have been dealing in collectibles since 1997 unless you count all the stuff I collected as a kid! I actually bought a glass salt & pepper on a tray for a dime when I was 10. I sold them in my shop for $6.00 40 years later!
I opened my own Brick & Mortar Antique Shop in December of 2002 and grew from a 700 sq. ft. starter space to almost 5000 sq ft with 13 dealers and over 60 consignors. After 2 moves (it is not fun moving 6,000 sq ft of fragile items) I finally purchased my own building in December of 2012. In April of 2017 we closed our doors, sold off and donated the remaining inventory and sold our building when I decided we were missing out on too much of our family and friends.
I collect Flower Frogs, have since 1997, thus the handle FroggieB Treasures. I also collect frogs of all sort, particularly the vintage ones. I have several salt and peppers, planters, figurines, decorations, and prints. I have over 100 different frog brooches and scatter pins and prefer the vintage ones but can't resist the bling of some of the new Swarovski ones.
Because of my collections my passion leans towards glass, pottery, and jewelry but I just love buying anything that I think I can sell!
