I am an artist and an educator. I've taught elementary education and also had the opportunity to teach college students for the last seven years of my working years. I retired in 2008. Since then I created an art gallery called the Blue Heron. It was a great success with 24 artists involved, but unfortunately I had to end it only after 9 months because I developed a more painful back from Scoliosis. I also am interested in antiques and especially tea leaf dinnerware, but otherwise I love old things. I also love history and genealogy and do genealogy for both sides of my Scottish heritage.
