Revisiting our Seller Survey (Features you want to see on Bonanza)
Back in January of this year we asked you how we can make Bonanza better and like Bite Squad, you delivered.
Since so many of you spent the time to let us know what was important to you, I thought it would be fun to follow up on this survey and see the progress that we've made on your requests.
As a refresher, here's what was voted for by you, the users:
Done so far
Add Shipping Labels Our most requested feature was added on March 31, 2014. We also added the ability to purchase shipping on Bonanza on June 12, 2014.
More Advertising Committed $1m to advertising in 2014. Also added several new advertising channels for our sellers (Bing Shopping, TheFind, Nextag, eBay, and Pricegrabber) on March 4th, 2104. Added advertising by Affiliate Program in the past week. We project the sum of these new channels to result in tens of millions of new buyers to your products over the next year.
Better Ability to Bulk List/Bulk Edit Listings Added an Amazon importer January 2014, to import and synchronize your Amazon inventory. Opened our eBay importer sync tool for all sellers, March 2014. This request is not specific so we are continuing to identify ways that we can improve the Bulk Listing/Bulk Editing of listings.
More Pictures/Ability to Zoom. In Q1 of this year we more than doubled the number of pictures available for listings (from 6 to 15!). Additionally you can add an unlimited amount of images to the description of a listing. Images that are large enough will now zoom as you point your mouse over the image.
Better Booth Analytics (visual). We have redesigned our item views page by adding a highly visual traffic graph with several traffic metrics.
More Payment Options/Pay with Credit Card Yeah, it took a little bit longer than we had anticipated but we wanted to make sure we did it right. Direct Checkout was launched on August 08, 2014, Booyah!
More Variables/Sizing and Color Options on Individual Listings This was one of my personal favorites. We launched Simple Item Variations on April 02, 2014. We also added the ability for imports to add new variations to Bonanza (before we ignored them).
Better Categories (more concern for handmade items) We have done a full category sync twice this year (Eric lives and breathes category syncs). If you see something missing please drop us a line.
Keep Closed Listings Available for Repeat Listings This feature is now live. You can visit your "Items sold" page, pinpoint the listing in question and click on the "Relist" feature. Easy peasy!
More Customization Booth/Storefront We have made several improvements to the customization of your booth (Added more banners, Product Page Box, etc). You can view all options by going to your "Sell on Bonanza > Edit booth options > Booth appearance). Happy to report that we are also working on a major initiative that will be pushed live in the very near future. Stay tuned, it is going to be off the hook!
Make it easier to Edit Imported Listings We have improved the editing of imported listings by improving the import process. By adding Simple Item Variations and also adding multiple improvements to our sync process/options, we have made less likely that you will have to edit imported listings (but if you do, you can just use your Batch Editor).
Sync Imported Listings (Remove sold items) Our Importers have become so advanced that they are actually smarter than us now! If you have not revisited our sync options we would highly recommend that you have a looksie.
Better Sync with PayPal (ID Bonanza sales better) Jordan has been working closely with PayPal to ensure that we are gathering as much information regarding sales and also refunds.

In less than a year's time, more than half of the features you asked for have been implemented. While we can't get to every feature that is requested (auctions ain't happening at the moment, but don't give up, Permacrisis), we are proud to be the marketplace most fueled by the creativity and feedback of our community.
Keep up the great work Bonanzalers! We are very grateful for our community of professional sellers who have helped make Bonanza the go to destination for "Everything but the Ordinary!"

What a concept!
The customer support is very responsive and helpful also. Any newbies out there thinking of joining, I’ll put my plug in for Bonanza. I moved my store over here in the Summer of 2010. I’ve had 500 plus sales so far. I’m happy. I think this is a great place to sell.
I have just been blown away by the great number of features and improvements made on Bonanza in the last couple of years, and the last year has been a Bonanza of Bonanzas, it seems. Great job, ya’all!

I’m SUPER NEW to Bonanza. I’ve found the customer service team and seller support to be amazing! They never tire of questions. Would love to have phone communication, but have found their responses to inquiries to be quite informative and FAST!! And more important – there’s resolution! The site is very user friendly. I CAN"T WAIT FOR AN AUCTION FORMAT!! Thank you….it’s been a terrific welcoming.
Thanks for letting us know about how much progress you’ve made. I haven’t seen any advertising on the traditional outlets like tv or print…can you let us know where to look for your ads? I live near the Baltimore and Washington DC markets, and haven’t seen anything. Is the $1 million perhaps spent on online ads? Thanks so much for all you do!

BUT, you did have me stumped with “BiteSquad”. No Take Out Taxi in Seattle?
having fixed price listings as well as auctions is a real no brainer?? Auctions are great way for sellers to sell items faster and bonanzle gets fees faster and then they can advertise faster. All this maeketplace needs is auctions and ebay will go away because AUCTION BUYERS WILL COME HERE!! I hope the implement auctions ASAP
I would love to see auctions here. I think ebayers are just waiting for another auction site to open up! We…oh ummm, I mean they, lol are so tired of all the stuff going on there, I think they would jump ship in a heartbeat….and this site is pretty well established with enough members to start it off…Why not give it a shot?
