Search Results Updates
I just wanted to drop in today and give you all a preview of some changes that we'll be pushing live this week to the search interface. I had a few goals in mind when approaching these changes.
1. Clean up the settings links and form elements that are shown above the search results (namely the items per page option and sorting options).
2. Do a better job showing how many results were returned.
3. Do a better job highlighting our sellers in the search results.
I've attached a few screenshots below to highlight the visual differences.

Notice in the shot below that the settings above the results are nice and tidy.
This screenshot highlights a search for everyone's favorite user: BonanzleMark, he gets his own row showing his profile information as well as up to 5 of his available products.
We're really happy with these improvements and we hope you all like them. That's it for now, back to work :)
p.s. I'd like to say thanks to thebgs and Renagade for posting and subsequently discussing this feature request, it helped illustrate to us the issue that her buyers were having when trying to find her booth on Bonanzle. This

btw, sorry for the small screenshots, we’ll be fixing this soon as we will continue posting before/after shots for our community to see all the cool stuff we’re working on

I use the search all the time and I do have two concerns about it. One is the ever present question you have,of “Looking for something etc etc…..” to me this seems like over kill when to the left of it is, “narrow your choices” with the catogory’s under it ….I must admit I am already in the practice of scrolling my page up so that sentence isnt glaring at me …and out of my view ,it just makes me wonder if it can be a quirk that frustrates others as well.
I also don’t see a all catogories button when I do “narrow my search” and I decide to go back to the beginning to start another one. Besides clicking on find and getting all catogories back (which not every one knows about) I do miss the all catogory link….I will admit thou the search is more exact now which I do love about it thanks for always trying to improve on Bonanzle and thanks for reading my 2 cents

I appreciate the concern which is been rose. The things need to be sorted out because it is about the individual but it can be with everyone.
