FRAME for entering PLAIN text description, without using editor - BONANZA, delete the Editor.

If this editor was working properly, nobody would have complained.
Fact [URL removed] Editor will never work properly because of the IMPORTED descriptions come from different sources.
Bonanza stuff can say all kind of things, to use another browser, cache…it is not working properly because of IMPORTED HTML in description. it is very annoying.
I select “headline 3”, start editing the existing text, suddenly it changes the size…etc

UPDATE to my comment [URL removed] Today I added a listing from another site. Before I pasted Description into Editor, I converted it to Plain text. It worked perfectly. But to fix all items descriptions is a LOT of work.

strip your listing of the imported html…..enter as plain text (I do this by copy/paste text into notepad and then back into the editor and deleting the entire source code, of course I do all my write-ups in notepad first anyway) and then make your changes on the plain text…it really isn’t that hard…

not all editors are compatible…you are importing conflicting html…

I am suggesting an OPTION for those who don’t want to bother with THIS editor.Bonanza Editor is still an EDITOR which got a LOT of problems. BEST is NO editor at all, just a FRAME for [URL removed] COPY & PASTE. That’s ALL. I don’t want to waste my time going to notepad and stripping the code..etc..etc….

One of the best known sites uses exactly [URL removed] TEXT FRAME – it’s easy & fast. NO need to deal with bold, color, html, underline…etc, all of which DO NOT work in Bonanza editor(except bold).

sorry you are having so much trouble…if you want it changed then here is the link to make the suggestion.. [URL removed]

CC, You are right, it’s better way, BUT many times, even after making changes on the plain text, it still can appear later… ‘different’.

Also, “fighting” with this red line is really disturbing and time consuming (I wish I knew more about this “red” feature, just to avoid/use it efficiently).

Edited

However..not not really sure what you mean by red line..I don’t have it…

unfortunately…there is just some text/fonts that google won’t allow…and it appears those options have been disabled. However..not not really sure what you mean by red line..I don’t have it when

“I don’t have it” – I would prefer not to have it too. I wonder, if there is a way to switch it off.

And again, i have to say, it works perfectly for me. It cannot be “broken” if it works perfectly for some and not others.
I would not want them to get rid of it, as I use it quite often.

going with if it works for 100000 people and not one….then it is more user error…but unfortunately bonz changes what works to what almost works

ZeePoster says: June 04, 2016

it works for you because you probably never imported listings from other sites. This is all you know. FACT is [URL removed] if some people complaining that Editor does NOT work, it means it is NOT good. It should FUNCTIONING for all. The BEST for [URL removed] to have OPTION to use a simple FRAME for plain text.

misskeech says: June 04, 2016

Well, No, that is NOT all I know! No need to be rude. And Yes, i have imported from other sites. I do not only sell on bonanza!

ZeePoster says: June 07, 2016

apologize misskeech, didn’t realize I’m rude ;-). TODAY I added a listing without importing. Converted description to plain text and pasted into Editor. PERFECT! Everything works, even color. So the problem is imported HTML. It’s a lot of work to change description in every item.

I have the dotted red line too. And am trying to get rid of it. Very annoying when editing.
