How can i find the gtin for items i'm selling without packaging/a box?

I’m selling a 2004 Final Four hat and when I listed it, a note came back that said I need the hat’s GTIN. EBay doesn’t require that. How do I find any item’s GTIM? Thanks.

Sometimes what I do is go to google.com, place in pertinent keywords to the item and also put UPC in google’s search box. Occasionally this will bring up the UPC for the item.

I do the same. I even search Ebay and occasionally I get a GTIN. Usually on video games. But I have on other items as well.

TY for posting. I forgot where i was supposed to go to get this.

I use upcdatabase.com.

It may not be as complete; I’m not sure.

I joined it years ago, and when I find a UPC that is not in there, I enter it. That way, the next person can find it. It also means that someone else won’t just make up a UPC for their item, and use one that belongs to something else. Well, I guess that doesn’t prevent it, but it does list the correct UPC for an item.

I find it easiest to just search for the item. look in google shopping, scroll down to details and get UPCs (gtin)…if it is in google shopping it more than likely has a upc (gtin)… listed somewhere

data base sites are ok most of the time for the more modern stuff, but do rely on submissions by those who use it…so if you find it elsewhere but not at one of the sites..then submit the information..make it easier for the next person
