Can anyone tell me if this is a scene I would recognize if I’d been watching TV
in 1986? Is it from the TV show Dallas? I never did see that show.
[I know…must be from outer space.]
The trademark on the cup names the owner of the ranch where the show was filmed
and the company Lorimar-Telepictures.

Yes. It is the entrance to Southfork Ranch located at 3700 Hogge Road, Parker, TX 75002

(I was recently there during the Christmas holidays attending a formal debutante ball)

Those cups are quite common and sell in their gift shop @ $7.99

There is a Dallas web site, we shoulda known. Warner Bros. I didn’t watch it either except for the one episode when they told who shot JR.

[URL removed] I did a search for Lorimar-Telepictures shows and found that they did do Dallas and the dates are [phone number removed]. You or someone who is more familiar may want to have a look at all the shows to see if something else fits, but it is probably Dallas. Here is the Wikipedia [URL removed]

Thanks johngermaine and Ann Golden! I knew the mug was from [phone number removed]. It is marked 1986 and the name Lorimar-Telepictures was not used after 1988. But didn’t know if it was a scene from the show Dallas.
It also has the name Terry V. Trippet on it. He bought the ranch in 1984, but lost it in 1991.
Thanks again!
