Hmm, “I’ve just found a seller with a Top Rated seller seal on Bonanza” too – YOU, [URL removed]

“I (also) was unaware they had this.”

So, “What is needed to achieve this and what are the benefits?”, do You know by now?

Yes, you also have the top rated badge sleekhairbeauty!
I should have one also, unfortunately, not very many buyers leave feedback
on Bonanza.

Misskeech, even the member with one sale (not finished yet) and zero feedback has the “Top Rated Seller” [URL removed] [URL removed] … So, ask the B. support about Yours. BTW, maybe it’s some test again – when did You notice this TRS for the first time?

Lol , Thanks . I didn’t even realize …. I was highly upset when I saw this because we do a decent amount of sales and majority of our products ship within 1 day and “0” returns or complaints . Also any one know the benefits ?

I don’t think there are any benefits other than it being seen by buyers.

apparently it doesn’t take much nor does there seem to be much benefit to having a top rated seller status on Bonanza…
I have it and I have had only 2 sales on Bonanza in the past 11 months….
and the last feedback I received from a Bonanza buyer was over 4 years ago – back in March of 2012…
a top rated seller designation on Bonanza means having this pretty little icon that seemingly has little bearing on a seller’s performance or success on this site.

That sucks ….. Was hoping more significant like eBay . I want to hear from a Bonanza team member what is the criteria needed to achieve this and if there is any benefits .

I guess its pick and choose with whom bonanza gives it to. I have had about 41 sales in the past 11 months, all successful, unfortunately, not many leave feedback. And some of these are repeat buyers. So maybe bonz is going according to how many feedback is left. I dont know.

I agree sleekhair, I would like to know also.

I contacted support about this issue the other day and this was the response I received. The rating comes from eBay and only for those who import their items.

“Sellers that import from eBay import their feedback and their Top Rated seller status as well. The top rated status just appears if the seller is rated as such and is importing from eBay”

yes … i just noticed it today. i have it and the top rated on eBay also so it makes sense

Ah yes so it’s just a reference to one’s eBay status rather than an actual Bonanza status designation…that would explain why I have it as I am top rated seller on eBay.

Now all is clear, and that’s why even sellers with zero feedback have this seal, fair enough. Thank You, Starfisher, for posting it.

ccmom says: May 08, 2016

so when doing a search…buyer will likely click on the Top rated…though the bonz seller who does not import has higher # sales here, and has completed all the rep points gets nothing…real fair

This is not right- didn’t really like the feedback even coming over all those years ago- needs to be reviewed and considered by Bonz staff- I, too, have always thought too much attention to eBay sellers vs Bonanza long time supporters!

I agree wholeheartedly with you ccmom and gearseller2.

I just came across this. Not fair, should not be “Top Rated” if not earned on this site. I’m TR on ebay, but choosing not to import all my inventory. I guess Bonanza is doing this for a reason, to load up the site.
