Update booth, update price turns to 24 hours review

Hi,

What is wrong with bonanza nowadays? How many times i need to contact customer support?
1) 5 days ago, I have updated my descriptions and update my booth. Bam! 24 hours review. Contacted support and my booth is back online.
2) 3 days ago, i updated my price and bam! again 24 hours review. Contacted support and until today there is no respond.

This is annoying and i can guess more 24 hours review after this when i update item quantity, add new item and so on.

This also impact google shopping as item will disappear from google shopping when items feed is suspended due to 24 hours review.

With this kind of problem, i bet no new seller will stick with bonanza as this is very frustrating.

Will revert back to Ebay then.

Thank you.

For information, number (2), i used save changes to update quantity and price. I only use update booth once after i added new item. You can try to be a new seller, create new item, add quantity more than 20, put the price more than $50. It will automatically change to 24 hours review when you click save changes. I don’t know if this is a bug or maybe a new rules by bonanza. I tried to change to original qtty and price but 24 hours review is remain the same. Still no respond from bonanza support. I have no problem to put any quantity or price i want on Ebay. Trust me, how can new seller will stick with bonanza if there is always 24 hours review and it already passed 24 hours actually.

Thank you.

This is an official Bonanza response.

Sorry for the delay lewisgogo. Sounds like we can work on making the process more convenient and we will use your example to do so.

Booths require manual review when they hit a certain criteria on our side or if they have an admin hold. All of our current systems are in place to make Bonanza a safe place for shoppers and for sellers. Thank you again for your feedback and support of Bonanza.

Well Add SKFenterprise to your list, this is a huge problem

I wonder if this “Update booth” button has to be clicked after some changes made in listings descriptions, prices, etc.

For sure it has to be used the first time we add items, just to activate the booth.

But later, since so many times it causes ‘reviews’ and either some items or all booth disappear, why to click on this button?
Isn’t it enough to make some changes and save them using only the “Save these changes” button on the listing? After this usually item(s) are still online.
Why then do You need to click again on the “Update booth” button?

When I add a new item or make some changes to existing listings, I don’t click on the “Update booth” button.

Maybe I’m wrong, so hopefully ccmom, tom…1 or some other experienced member can answer.

Hello [URL removed] Welcome to Bonanza! I also rarely have to click “Update booth” button. I automatically click the “Save These [URL removed] Customers Can See Them Right Away” button. Occasionally, I have been asked/reminded to click the “Update” button, and I don’t know for sure why. Maybe I was accidentally using the “Save” (for later) button or something. When I duplicate an item and don’t edit and list the duplicate right away, I receive reminders. Maybe one of those is click “Update” button.

I am sorry that you feel frustrated with this issue. Bonanza is a great place to be. I’ve heard so many horrible things about eBay that I’d never go there. It only seems to be getting worse. The traffic may be great there, but the headaches are not worth it to me.

If you haven’t, maybe you should try what me and ArtistsUnion have been suggesting. If you are not sure, make sure that you are only using the button at the bottom, the save button that I mentioned, not the “Save” or “Save For Later,” unless you are not finished with the listing. See if that works.

Good luck to you,
Sandi

You don’t need to click the Update Booth button every time you do something.

I’m not sure if this is still the case, but Bonanza would send updates to Google Shopping every 14 days, so everyone started clicking Update frequently to get their feed updated.

Bonz does, however, resend to GS when items are added, deleted, and also edited (I think), so it really is not necessary to keep doing it.
