Why don't bonanza listings show on internet search engines?

Hi,
I’m migrating here from Ebay. However, i noticed that I can search for an item on google or Duck and inevitably will get a result from Ebay.

This doesn’t seem to happen with Bonanza listings.
Does anyone happen to know why?

Older, more established listings will always come up first in google shopping..so your item on ebay will come before the same item on bonz..unless the bonanza item(boot) is older than the ebay store

Booth…not boot

I contacted Bonz Support and they recovered 16 listings to my booth. I’m pretty sure I misunderstood the listing import procedure and screwed my own pooch. That being said, I was not a huge GreedBay seller.

Here, seems like i don’t have a chance unless I pay the 9% fee.
So that’s 3.5% +9% ? Wow!

NO…………….It is just 9% and you only pay 9% if there are add clicks on the item…so if there are no ad clicks and the item sold through a direct link or through bonanza search then the fee will be 3.5%..

If the listing is new at the time you searched (ie less than 72 hrs…it can take 24-72 hrs to process new listings for search) it more than likely is still in the indexing process and will not show in search

You do not have to have the 9% for items to show in bonanza searches only for google shopping. Google does not treat all marketplaces equally…

There is one item in your booth which was listed yesterday, probably wasn’t even indexed nor your google feed sent yet…

Google organic crawls the site and items do show in google organic when searched..

And unlike ebay, we really can’t get away with one line discriptions and see photos…

Only items sent by your google feed will show in google shopping and the more established a store the more likely it will show…If the same item is listed at ebay and bonanza..the older listing will be more likely to show

Your item now appears in bonanza internal searches…

I’m confused about the 3.5% 9% 30% What number is that a percentage of? It seems as if at the 3.5%, which is where I am at now, that you have very little if any chance of selling anything here unless someone comes to this site which many people have never heard of and don’t know it even exists. I’ve

I’ve been a member here for years but never did anything here because it seemed to me that Greedbay was much easier and I already had a store there. Now they have gone off the deep end with so many illogical and quite honestly STUPID! changes that is making it more and more difficult to sell there.

They have no understanding of the K.I.S.S. principle when it comes to how they do things. But because things are so much different here I’m struggling to figure things out.

I see that my listing shows up now. However none of the Bonanza listings of mine or by other sellers of the same part are not showing on Google organic. Ebay sellers are there, though! I think some the other sellers are paying 9% , no?

ccmom says: June 02, 2021

The 3.5% is fvf without going to google shopping, 9%fvf to send items to google, other % open more places and more ads

ccmom says: June 02, 2021

There are several in both organic and google shopping from bonz and your ended ebay listings…which will superseed the one her until the other one falls off of google

ccmom says: June 02, 2021

And yes, to have google accept your feed choose the 9%fvf….(ad fee).

If you expect Bonz to ‘just like ebay’..it won’t be..you will have learn and follow google feed rules a lot more closely. Seems only ebay and amazon can get away with not “following” the rules

@[URL removed] where is a good place to brush up on the rules?

Bonanza listings show up in Google Shopping IF you set the Bonanza final value fees to 9%. Otherwise, they don’t appear. Totally worth it imo.

Would that also apply if you set it to 30%?

OK , I think I figured out how things work here. External search engine are blocked.
This is because the internal Bonanza search won’t show your products unless you pay the advertising fee.

Just tried a test listing didn’t see my listing at all but a ton of products from another seller even if they didn’t meet he search criteria.

This is quite different than the way Feebay’s search works. At least there everyone is displayed on an even playing field, and the customer can look for he best vendor or price.
Here, seems like i don’t have a chance unless I pay the 9% fee.
So that’s 3.5% +9% ? Wow!

Furthermore, this site does not appear to have the benefit of allowing Google to find internal listings on Bonanza.

I tested this by searching for things that exist here and on Ebay.
only Ebay listngs are offered by Google, nothing from the Bonanza listings.

So, if sales are slow, that’s why.
