Joyce, “Usar” etc., is Portugese and it loosely translates:
“user is just kidding”

What a GREAT Phrase! Love to hear Andy Williams sing that Christmas or Winter Holiday Carol!

Still have not put up a tree, I think, once more we’re going to go "easy’’ this year, I just no longer have the stamina, health, energy to do much more than to get the “Champaign”-colored tree up…no ornaments, just a sweet golden tree, with lights already built in, and Oh, maybe I’ll do ornies later in a week or so, but for now, I hope tomorrow we can get the little pretty tree up and we’ll see how Leo does with it, hopefully, he won’t lift his leg…lol…thus far, he’s chewed NOTHING up but a couple of napkins he took out of my little waste basket, and after telling him, “Shame, no no no!” he’s never done it again, knock on wood, and he’s not had an accident since that time he first greeted the kids, and peed out of too much excitement, even then, he ran to the deck door, like he knew he should be outside…he’s really a wonderful boy, we really feel Blessed to have given him a second chance at a forever home. . .

I think I made this one last year, but it’s got THIS WEEK’S PHRASE within it. . .

Be Blessed, During This, The Sweetest Season of the Year!

Dee, sounds like Leo is really a good friend.
So glad you found each other.

Once again, thanks for posting. Always feel blessed with your posts.

As far as decorations go I do have a door hanging that makes the house look festive to anyone that sees it and I also have a Christmas front door mat out. The m,ailman sees these decorations AND the 10 other families that live in our woods. Actually we are at the end of the cul de sac. 3 houses on this end see my efforts at decorating AND the mailman that only comes to the door when something is too big to fit in the bank of mailboxes at the entrance to the cul de sac. Why bother???? :)

Indoors for my enjoyment there is the lighted pine arrangement in a large flower pot that I won at the party last weekend.

With my efforts to size-down and make the move in the spring, guess I am comfortable with my little touch of the holiday look.

Good Afternoon!
Diana says Thank you to her Sneaky Santa! A gift arrived for her today, she is so excited she wants to move the opening party to today!
We spent the morning, and part of the afternoon on a somewhat unsuccessful shopping trip. Our local store was out of an item so we drove 20 miles one way to the next nearest store that was supposed to have three of the item we needed and they had none, grrr. We are going to a live performance of A Christmas Carol tonight, it should be good!

Hope the performance was a memorable one.
Christmas outings are always great.
Sorry about the 20 mile trip for nothing.

That is this week’s symbol for list turned in.
How about that for special during this brain exercise before Christmas?

Happy Sunday, Dearies! ANYone Can Play this WFC Game! ANYone can join in the Forum, too!

This Week’s Phrase Is:
It’s The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!
A1, D1, E5, F2, H2, I2, L1, M2, N1, O3, R2,
S2, T5, U1, W1, Y1

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=So5T3MOI5EY

http://www.guiddoo.com/blogs/we-have-proof-for-what-you-knew-all-along-santa-claus-is-real

Also, there’s these “word of mouth stories and experiences” one hears or hears about over so many years, here’s ours. . .
1st – Hubby’s. . .I’ll call him Denny as I share this TRUE Experience. . .(I might/might not share mine)
Many, many moons ago, on Christmas Eve, when Denny was a young teen, around 13/14 years of age, (he says he can’t remember the exact age, but he does remember at 15 retelling what happened) he was visiting his grandmother’s home and relatives that had gathered there that night. At any rate, Denny was in the master bedroom retrieving coats on the big bed, because it was time to go back home for himself and his mom and dad. . .well, Denny claims “something” in him was drawn to the bedroom window, and so before getting the coats off the bed, he went to the window. He could clearly see into the house next door, even though that house was rather dark, you see there was a full moon that night, and it gave a light. While looking out that bedroom window and into the houses window and room next door, a figure suddenly appeared, in the doorframe of the room Denny could see into, clearly so, and just as clear, he knew immediately WHO that figure was, because of his stature, which was on the short side, and his clothing, which was in red and white, and the man walked from the door across the room, right up to the window of that other house next door, waved to Denny, winked at him, and proceeded to disappear. Denny was dumb-struck, after all, it had been years since he no longer believed in Santa, but there was no denying what he saw. He never told anyone for about a year, and finally he did, he told his mom, and she laughed and said that of course that was the Real Santa Claus, people do not have the ability to disappear. She said it so confidently that Denny didn’t hear one shrewd of doubt in her voice, and from that day, the day he 1st shared that experience, Denny has believed there are more things in Heaven and on Earth, than we could possibly know about, and yet they are True, it’s just that too few people get to Realize such, or that such things come into a Reality that simply cannot be denied. Denny still tells that story, to his grandkids this time of year, and there’s a twinkle in Denny’s eyes when he tells it, it’s as if he knows that Santa Claus is Real and True. . .do you? Well, I do, I always have and I always will Believe that God’s So Good, those Loving Things we think we made up as childhood legends to be passed down, God’s seen to it, in Magical Mystical Time and Space and Mostly Unknown, Unseen Place that THOSE things are VERY REAL, because with Love All Things are Possible, and so too with God, who IS Love, who IS Light, and I believe the man Denny saw, the one who winked at him and then disappeared, was no other than the God-Made Santa Claus, himself! A Jolly, Happy Fella’ and the Symbol of Giving and Bringing Joy and Delight into the hearts and souls of children, young, and the rest of us – children, old!

In some parts of the world, people believe in "a tulpa’’ which is most easily described as: “A tulpa is an entity created in the mind, acting independently of, and parallel to your own consciousness. They are able to think, and have their own free will, emotions, and memories. In short, a tulpa is like a sentient person living in your head, separate from you.”
Thus if ENOUGH singular persons believe in a Santa Claus, it is entirely possible Santa Claus is a Tulpa, alive and well and living in a dimension known only to our brains and hearts and spirits, but not in the physical world as we know it – but what about a physical world we DO NOT know about nor experience, at all, or some DO experience, but only for a bit?. . .it is written ALL things are possible with God, and I would add, thus so are tulpas possible. For our God is Great, and our God is All Good. . .why would God let little children die and go to Heaven and NOT have a Santa Claus there to Spend some of Eternities Forever Time with them? NO God I Love and Know would be that cruel, and NOT have a Santa Claus BE Real, most especially for children anywhere, everywhere, including Heaven and Earth!

I Believe in Santa Claus and I Always Have and I Always Will Believe! Dee

Just spoke with Carolyn.
She is still at the rehab center after her doctor got a 3 day extension from her insurance company on Friday. She hopes to go home tomorrow but still has concerns about what it will take of her around her home alone. She is still not walking but therapy daily is helping.
Kathy she will be sure and send your prize from a couple weeks ago as soon as she gets home.

Charlotte, In the Beginning of “Grumpy Old Men” they play the song “We’re Having a Heatwave” . . .it’s getting colder here in OH, too, in fact we now have a snow-covered ground.

Nancy (((((((Hugz)))))))) Thanks hon!

Leo got his first “official” grooming (fur cut and bath, nail trimming included) – I’ve been cutting him. I have a set of specialty scissors to do so, as I used to cut our Brittie (another Cocker, in fact 1 hubby bought me when she was but a puppy, many many many moons ago) and I did a fairly good job with thinning sheers, razor cutting, small scissors that I used to cut and shape. Anyway, Leo’s fur just about ’’exploded’’ within the last month, and I found it hard to try to keep up, but I did keep up with demoting, and that’s very important, plus in winter snow gathers on long haired dogs like you would not believe, and they come in covered in icy snowballs like the pic below . . .

We had her – the groomer, cut Leo very very short, but she left some on his tail, which I’m happy she did as I didn’t want too much take off his tail, but he looks like a totally different dog, and hubby and I find ourselves giggling at him…hubby told him “we’re not laughing at you, Leo, we’re laughing WITH you!” which just made us laugh even more! He’s so ’’bald’’ looking! Ha!

He only looks sad, that’s because he’s a cocker with those big eyes, trust me, he is one of the happiest dog we’ve ever rescued. . .or had!!!
