Item description
Manufacturer: Produced by the Porcelier Manufacturing Company (active from 1927 to 1954 in East Liverpool, Ohio, and South Greensburg, Pennsylvania). This specific design dates back to the 1930s to 1940s.
Body Pattern: Features a distinct cream-colored basketweave/log texture on the lower body, accented with hand-decorated illustrations of a rustic woodland cabin and trees wrapped around the upper rim.
Material: Made of heavy vitreous china, which is a specialized ceramic fired at high temperatures with an enamel glaze to make it exceptionally tough, dense, and non-porous.
Metal Insert: The metal insert shown inside is an aluminum strainer/infuser. This piece is typically missing from surviving vintage sets, making yours a great find.
