These work great! I was able to fit it over my ear to hear the effects and it definitely blocks a lot of decibels. Our baby is 4-1/2 months old and doesn't mind them at all. We have used them on her while working. She'll be on a back facing forward watching is hammering rivets (really loud and annoying) and she doesn't seem to notice any noise. She just peacefully observes the process! I already bought the next size up fur when she out grows these, even though that's at least two years away!
