I have not used this lamp yet. However 6 months ago we hired a tech to replace a JVC LAMP at a cost over $200 and then it burnt out so we decided to look online to replace it ourselves. The bulb at a local dealer cost us $152 plus $10 for them to remove the old bulb from the case and put in the new one. Then I decided to look on EBay and Amazon to find the lamps for $34 generic brands some of them that I'm told only last about 6 months. So we have decided EBay and Amazon is the way to go. And guess what, each lamp comes in its own case. Go online to YouTube for a simple demo on how to replace your TV lamp. Very happy and will buy again.
