I had one of these tools as a child. Unfortunately it was either lost or stolen. I love leatherman they have set the pace in the multitool industry. The tools on this piece are great from scissors to screwdrivers bottle opener and knifes/saw. Everything is top quality. Even tho it's only 420hc steel it works great. On the blade is easy to sharpen and comes extremely sharp from factory. When it comes to multitools I will only buy leatherman or victorinox. I have a great collection of leatherman products.
Ps. The 25 year no questions asked warrenty is perfect. Even though this isn't life time they will fix or replace your tool without any hassle what so ever. Great people making great products in the USA!!

Have used the Leatherman sportsman 300 for many years. Was surprised that this model didn't have a lock mechanism. But it does work well. Had to sharpen the blade but expected that.
