If you want black hair I would recommend this product whether you care about chemicals or not. It's easier and faster then conventional dye. I found it looking for a chemical free option. I am beyond glad I found this product for all the reasons I talked about. Only down side is the smell. Small price to pay for all the pros of this product. Other dyes still smell worse anyway.
