This is an unopened vintage complete Candlewick-Plus Color Embroidery Kit. This is the Paragon Needlecraft “Colonial Blossoms” Pillow, copyright 1983. The original price on the package was $14.99 back in 1983. Paragon has taken the Colonial Craft of Candlewicking and combined it with other interesting stitches, colors, and textures. This craft was originally worked with unraveled threads that were made for the wicks of candles. Candlewick-Plus designs feature Candlewicking (Colonial) Knots, which are worked similar to French knots. The finished Size is 14” plus 3” Ruffle With Lace. The kit includes: Stamped pillow top fabric, Backing fabric, Lace and fabric for ruffle, Candlewick cotton and embroidery floss, Needles, Complete illustrated instructions. Pillow form not included.
